I had 4 Mustangs and tons of Fords since the 60's but didn't have one now and I was ready for my 5th ! I was a custom mural artist and sign painter in the late 60's and 70's, restored and painted cars and bikes in our garage in Montreal, Quebec. I had a sign business in the 80's in Kitchener, Ontario, advertising & promotion in the 90's in Mississauga, and internet marketing and design now. But for many reasons I was out of the car connection and I was due! With video camera in hand I recorded it all!
In 2003 Peter and I celebrated Ford's 100th at the Monterey Historical Races in California and the
Ford 100 Celebration and SVT Experience in Dearborn, Michigan. It was there I first saw the
Mystichrome Edition Cobra on display. For 2004 this 390 bhp, supercharged beast has unique
colour shifting paint and leather and would be limited to a production of only 1,000 vehicles - 1 year only! 1st year – I kept it totally stock and ran a 13.28 @ 105mph. So in Feb. 2005 Peter and I will be in Pomona, California for the NHRA Winternationals, and participating in the Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School. A great trip with lots of time to find some cool stuff for the cars. We'll be checking out the Peterson Automotive Museum and we can't miss the experience of the Superman the Escape ride at Magic Mountain near L.A. This ride accelerates you 0-100 mph in 7secs! So we'll see you around at the shows in 2005. I'm the one with the car that can't make up it's mind what colour to be! Andy S. ( WE DON'T GET OLDER . . .ONLY FASTER! ) |

A fan of Mustangs since the 60's, It was the persuasion of my older brother Peter,
who still has his original 1969 427-Mach 1 and now his 5th Mustang . . . a new 2005 Mustang GT,
to also become an SVTOA member in 2003. Me … a Ford fan? Duhhh!
In May 2004 I was ready when I found “Mysti” shifting colors in the showroom of Discovery Ford
in Burlington. Since this car was not going to be a daily driver, I thought it would be perfect - an instant show car that would probably retain its value, and it would be a great car to hand down to the
next generation of car guy in my family.
