Daniel's 2008 Ford Fusion SEL AWD - THE FUSIONATOR

Daniel's FUSIONATOR

"I had originally joined the SVTOA-Toronto chapter shortly after I had installed the SVT suspension in my 2005 Ford Focus, to meet other enthusiasts that shared my love of fast Fords. Sadly that car met its fate on Easter Sunday 2008 thanks to a driver running a red light, before it could be taken where I wanted.

That left me having to buy a new car to replace it, and with that purchase a new opportunity presented itself.

I purchased a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL AWD model and set out to make the car my own.  This turned out to be a more challenging experience than I thought, I had the concept in mind, but I needed assistance with the execution of it, especially because in Canada modified Fusions were quite rare.

That’s where the Dixie Ford Speed Shop came into play, working with the staff I was able to take my vision (which I had dubbed “The Fusionator” project) and work it towards reality (not coincidentally winning 2nd place at the 2009 Scrape By The Lake car show in the Ford / Lincoln – Other division)

Thanks to the Dixie Ford staff I was able to both purchase the parts and have them installed as needed to take my car to the place where I want it.  There is still more I want to do, but with the help of the Dixie Ford Speed Shop staff I am confident that I will reach my vision for my car."
