2009 Annual Mini-Golf Challenge
August 13, 2009
Once a year, our members trade in their keys for their lucky putters, and decided to take it to the green for ultimate supremacy. The goal: Reigning King or Queen of our Annual Mini-Golf Challenge.
Once again, we headed to the Family Golf Learning Centre in Oakville. This year, our avid golfers hit both venues: Bucaneer's Landing and Top Gun courses. Many loved the pirate theme and challenging course found on Buccaneer's Landing. With putters in hand, we swung our ways through the course. Our wits were about us as the challenging course was filled with hills, valleys, waterfalls, lagoons and vegetation. Nevertheless, we managed to reach our destination: the nineteenth hole.
Congratulations go out this year's rookie sensation, Paul Taylor, who edged out rookie Sean Marskell for the win. We hope everyone had fun, and we'll see you next year at our challenge.
